We want you to be delighted with any item that you purchase from Memory Boxes.co.uk. However, we understand that you may sometimes wish to return an item to us. Please check your order carefully upon delivery. The documentation accompanying your order will detail the items despatched and any items to be sent separately.
Damages and Discrepancies
Please notify us of any damages or discrepancies within 48 hours of receipt in writing to custservice@memoryboxes.co.uk or by contacting Customer Service 01636 830108 who will be pleased to help. Please quote your order/invoice reference number to help us process your request quickly and efficiently. We will issue you with a Returns Note and posting label by email that contain your Returns Authorisation Number (CRT***). Pack the faulty item securely in the original packaging, include the Returns Note inside the parcel and affix the returns label to the outside of the box. Write the Returns Authorisation Number clearly on the outside of the parcel and return to: Memory Boxes Marchent House Main Street Bleasby Nottinghamshire NG14 7GH We would advise that you obtain proof of posting or send using a trackable delivery method as we cannot be held liable for returned items lost in the post. You have 28 days to return the faulty item for exchange or to receive a refund. We reserve the right to inspect the product to verify any fault. We can only offer a refund or an exact replacement for your return. If you need a different item, you need to request a refund and then place a new order. All returns and refunds are evaluated before being processed usually within 7 days. All refunds will be made to the original payment card used. If we sent you an incorrect item please contact us immediately. We will send you the correct item as soon as we can. Send the incorrect item back within 28 days of our email confirming despatch of the correct item and we will make sure that you are not charged for it. If you do not return the original item to us within this 28 day period, we reserve the right to charge an amount equal to the price of your original order to the payment card you used for the order. If you are returning an item that is defective, damaged or incorrect at the time of receipt we will refund the purchase price and original delivery charges and we'll reimburse your costs in returning it to us.

Cancelling Your Order
We are sure that you will be pleased with your purchase. However, we understand that you may sometimes wish to change your mind after placing an order. Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order at any time before and up to 7 days following receipt of your purchase. To cancel part or the whole of an order prior to despatch please telephone Customer Service on 01636 830108 or email custservice@memoryboxes.co.uk quoting your order number and giving details of the items to be cancelled. We will confirm cancellation by email. If you exercise your right to cancel your order after the goods have been despatched please refer to our Returns Policy below for more information on returning your unwanted items. You cannot cancel your order if 28 days have elapsed following receipt of goods.

Returns Policy

We will be happy to refund the product provided it is returned in its original packaging and in a fully resaleable 'as new' condition within 28 days. If you are cancelling your order after the goods have been despatched, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Memory Boxes at your own risk and cost. When you are withdrawing from your purchase between the 7 and 28 days after delivery and there has been no error on our part, we will refund only the purchase price of the item, we will not refund the cost of delivery or other services provided to you in connection with your purchase. We will not process any return without a Returns Authorisation Number (CRT*) or where the item has been incorrectly packaged and is found to be damaged upon receipt. We reserve the right to charge upto 20% of the full item purchase price if goods are returned damaged and unfit for resale. Please allow up to 5-7 days following confirmation that your parcel has been received by us for the funds to appear back on your card. None of these conditions affect your statutory rights.
